Brush-Up Online team is going to organize a one-day workshop on “Cyber Security & ICT Tools in Education” at 10:00 AM on December 10, 2011 (Mangshir 24, 2068), Saturday in Infomax College, Ranipauwa, Pokhara.

Successfully conducted the ICT workshop on Cyber Security on the occasion of Internet Day in Russia at Russian Center of Science and Culture, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu, Nepal


Brush-Up Computer Science Practice Book is now in the market

BrushUp Computer Science Practice Book for SLC is recommended for the students appearing in SLC examination. This edition is based on new syllabus of Computer Science, designed as per the curriculum prescribed by Curriculum Development Center, Ministry of Education, Government of Nepal.

The main aim of making this book is to provide a clear conceptual understanding and practical experience that fulfill the basic requirements of the students preparing for the SLC examination. 

The contents include notes, objective questions (Multiple Choice, True and False, Match the Following, Technical Terms and Full Forms) of Computer Fundamental (Computer Networking and Telecommunication, E-mail and Internet, Computer Security, Computer Virus, Multimedia and its Application, Cyber Law and Ethics and Number System) and Database Management System (MS-Access). Fundamental concept of programming, solved and unsolved programs, Finding the Output, Debugging the program, and Analytical reasoning questions from Q-Basic Programming and Fundamental concept of C-Language. Along with these, contents include solved and unsolved SLC model questions with collection of SLC examination questions (year 2064 to year 2067 BS).

As far as possible, our efforts are put in with the sincerity to make the book error free. We hope that the book would prove to serve the needs of students and teachers as well. Significant suggestions and comments from readers are always welcome so that we may be able to make the necessary improvement in future editions.
